"I used to have auto insurance through Geico, and was not happy with the care I had after a driver swiped my car leaving me with hospital bills/car repairs. It was after my grandfather passed away and I dealt with State Farm who he had for 40+ years. They went above and beyond to make sure his policies were paid out and everything was taken care of that he wanted. Thanks to that I swapped over and found my own agent closer to home, and they've been the best. Especially as I go through a new move and had to get renters insurance on top of my auto. The ladies who answer the calls are always great and helpful- and Miguel helped sit down and go over all the info for my renters insurance as it was my first time renting anything bigger than a DVD. Highly recommend."

"I recently bought two cars. One new and one used but newer 2026. Jeep Cherokee 84 edition and the other 2023 jeep compass latitude lux. Last couple of days I was shopping around for insurance I ended up with keeping the same insurance company progressive but different policy and was little more expensive than what we had when wife and I got the cars because. Most banks wants proof of insurance now before you can drive off the lot and your financial paperwork. That was yesterday 10/7/26. Today Braeden Friss called unexpectedly and I really didn’t want to take his phone call, but i did and I’m glad I answered his call. He actually quoted me what i originally had when I left the dealership. But wife and i had the salesman change our insurance policy plan to the minimum because it was going up because we added two cars instead of one car and both was financed. He was nice one the phone and got to the points and offered Drive safe and save option that can save you even more money on your monthly premium payments up to 30%. Please take advantage of this option. Free money but have to give up bad habits so you save even more money. I even had other State Farm agencies give me quotes which were even higher. He got them even lower than what I thought he would. So today I switched insurance agencies."

"What does a guy have to do to get them to stop auto drafting payments from my account for a policy cancelled a month ago?

They opted not to renew my homeowners policy which is fine, but when I obtained a new policy with another provider and cancelled my auto insurance with State Farm I can’t seem to get anyone to cancel the policy and stop billing me.

When I realized they were still billing me and pulling funds from my account I emailed their office and did not get a response, so followed up with a phone call and eventually received a return call assuring me it would be cancelled……well I now see they’ve again auto debited my account another $168 and my policy still appears active on the app.

I assume this is not intentional and likely more incompetence or lack of care, but it’s easy to offer good service to new customers when trying to earn their business, while a better indicator of overall long term experience is how they treat existing or even previous customers.

Would not recommend, and now back to the drawing board trying to get them to stop billing me for a policy cancelled in June."
